PVC Swing Doors

PVC swing doors are the ideal solution when a "hands free," self closing pedestrian door is required. These doors offer better sealing and less interference with traffic than a strip curtain. The see-through leaves provide excellent vision, meaning busy two-way traffic can be accomodated without the risk of collision.

Doors are either single or double-leaf, depending on the width of the opening and work best when the width of the traffic passing through them does not exceed 2/3rds of the width of the opening.

We offer three models of swing doors: two with flexible PVC leaves, and one with rigid polycarbonate leaves. PVC leaved models are quieter and more forgiving on the traffic, while polycarbonate models are better suited to abrasive traffic and situations where wind and / or secutiy are factors.

All our swing doors are custom-made to specific size requirements. They are designed to mount directly into a formed, trimmed opening without the need for a special sub-frame. If the wall structure is insufficient to suport the doors and withstand the impact of traffic, a steel sub-frame can be supplied.
