The Ditec Traffic door is a sturdy, dependable and very affordable rapid acting fold-up door, suitable for many industrial applications, particularly large over-width openings (up to 11000Wx7000H) exposed to high wind.

The galvanised steel frame is self-supporting and encloses all mechanical components — motor, gear box, brake, and counterweights. No components extend beyond the side columns, making it ideal for restricted openings. The counterweights balance the weight of the curtain, reducing loadings on the drive unit and providing rapid emergency egress by raising the blade when the brake release lever is pulled.

It is attractive and well presented, with 9 different colour options for both the curtain fabric and frame. The blade accommodates full width vision panels or multiple windows allowing greater traffic visibility and enhancing interior lighting.

Integrated photocells on the side columns, and a contact-sensitive safety edge on the door blade prevent accidental closings and enhance the excellent safety of the door.

The door is assembled from panels of PVC, joined together with extruded anodised aluminium bars. The modular construction allows rapid replacement of accidentally damaged panels. Full width windows are easily inserted in place of standard panels, Multiple wind bars give the door excellent wind resistance – up to 70km/h for 3m wide openings (120km/h with optional wind strengthened curtain).
