About Us
Flexible Door Technology Ltd was formed in 1992 by Directors John Adams and George Hayward as a privately owned company specialising in access and environmental control solutions. Since then we have grown steadily to become NZ's largest supplier of flexible doors and screens. In 1994 we purchased the PVC strip curtain manufacturers Ampex Industries and in 2007, Enviro Doors 2000 Ltd in Auckland. In 2007 we also moved our Christchurch based Head Office and manufacturing facility from Kingsley St, Sydenham into new, purpose designed premises at Hillsborough.
We operate nationally throughout NZ with full Sales and Service teams based in both Auckland and Christchurch — backed up by a network of resellers and trained service agents around the country.
In addition to designing and manufacturing our own products, we operate as exclusive NZ distributors for:
- Scandistrip Door AB, Sweden
- Ditec of Italy.
